Elegant carving knife made for the Dunham Carrigan & Hayden Company of San Francisco in the USA from approximately 1900 to 1915.
Carving knife has a carbon steel blade, sterling ferrule and mother of pearl handle. Blade is very full, it has a few scattered pits but is otherwise in great shape.
Dunham Carrigan & Hayden was a large San Francisco firm selling all sorts of hardware, there is a land mark building that still bears their name at 2 Henry Adams St. in San Francisco built in 1915 (after the 1906 earthquake).
