Eureka "Imperial All Steel" 9" carving knife with carbon steel blade, nickel ferrule and butt cap and stag handle. Blade has been sharpend very little and is nice and full.
The markings are a little mysterious, it could have been made by Eureka Cutlery of Nicholson Pa. (1911-15), they are known for pocket knives but 'California Carvers' were popular at that time. The seal in the center of the markings is the California seal with Athena seated in front of a bay with mountains and ships, and Eureka being the motto of the Great State of California.. 1911 to 15 would be consistent with a knife like this.
