Made by Dexter Russell from approximately the 1950s to 70s in Southbridge Mass with a 12" long 9/16" honing rod. Lots of contact space on for the blade on this wider than average rod. Medium cut grooves are still nice and lively and bring up an edge quickly on a slightly dulled edge.

Pakka handle is nice and secure with nickle plated fittings.
