Unmarked 5” Carbon Steel Hand Forged Skinning Knife Beech Handle 1890-1930s
Vintage / Antique hand forged skinning knife with steel riveted beech handle. Blade has been sharpened down a bit, these were found in a batch of other butchery knives in San Francisco, some with San Francisco butchery supply business markings suggesting these were part of the S.F. ‘Butchertown’ butchery industry. This one is likely 1890’s to 1920’s given it’s hand forged blade and steel pins, at the very latest it would be 1930’s era production, it was found with a batch of knives all from 30’s era.
