Unmarked 11” Flexible Slicer Carbon Steel American 1880-1920s

Unmarked antique flexible slicer definitely American most likely from the 1880’s to 1920’s made in New England by one of the many large cutlery makers of the day. 11” forged carbon steel blade has a slightly English style elongated bullnose tip but the flared width and especially the cast pewter bolster over the brass pinned hardwood handle with small birds head are very American.

Knife has seen plenty of use but the blade is straight and sharp, it’s ready to get to work or be a nice addition to a collection.

11” blade, 16.75” overall length 6.3 oz
