Huge 14" Tichet chef knife made in Paris in the late 19th or early 20th century. Hand forged carbon steel blade, brazed seam nickel ferrule and rosewood handle.
Tichet was one of the few knife makers to continue to make knives in Paris and have a distinctive geometry and feel.
Blade is 14" along cutting edge with a 3.25" wide heel and is 19.5" overall weighting a hefty 22.5 oz
