Anton Wingen Jr New Old Stock 4.75" Carbon Steel Utility Solingen 1960s
New old stock 4.75" forged carbon steel slicer made by Wingen in Solingen Germany in the 1960's or 70's for Coast Cutlery Co in Portland Oregon.
Blade is drop forged and nicely hand ground with a walnut handle with aluminum rivet, the solid wood suggests 1970's at the latest as Pakka wood became more standard.
Blades are nice and bright, there are several small rust spiders but otherwise these old carbon steel blades are in great shape. Walnut handles are free from damage or heavy shrinkage.
