Morihei Hishiboshi 500 grit stone is a semi soft stone with an easy going feel, great for wide or single bevel thinning or light chip removal work. This stone cuts fast with a good consistency of abrasive particles and leaves a medium depth scratch, we have enjoyed using it in our sharpening service.
