Le Dé a Joue(R?) French Figural Men’s Shoe Knife 2 5/8” 1920s
French Figural Shoe Knife with great old style pictorial mark on carbon steel blade which either reads Le Dé a Joue - the dice has played or Le Dé a Jouer - the dice to play (?). Scales are black horn with an iron sole and heel.
Blade has been re-tipped and is dull, it is mechanically good with a tiny wiggle open. There are a few hairline cracks on the scale but nothing glaring given it’s wear, none the less a very charming old knife here.
