Landers Frary & Clark Aetna Works Carving Knife & Fork Set
2 piece carving set made with carbon steel and mother of pearl with sterling silver ferrules.
This set is likely from the late 19th or early 20th century, it was possibly originally part of a larger set but luckily these two have stuck together.
Condition is excellent, the blade has seen very little sharpening, it did see a little rust leaving a few pepper spots, rather than give the face a full resurfacing we opted to leave most of its original ground surface. Always nice to find these with the original box as well as they don't survive as well as the individual pieces.
Not stainless, do not put in dishwasher
