J A Henckels 12" Sharpening Steel Medium Cut 1950s
Vintage J A Henckels sharpening steel with 12" long 1/2" diameter non-stainless honing rod, brass hardware and turned wood handle.
This started life as a coarser steel and has mellowed out to a slightly finer cutting medium cut steel, great for bringing back a flagging but not super dull edge. While this has been used a good amount it has not been abused or let to rust.
