Made for the Hibbard Spencer & Bartlett Company with 7" carbon steel blade, cast pewter or brittania bolster, ebony scales and large brass rivets.
Hibbard Spencer & Bartlett Company was a very large hardware retailer in business from 1855-1960 later to become (True Value Hardware) but this knife has all the hallmarks of a late 19th / early 20th century knife with its deep swedged spine, cast bolster and T shaped half birdsye compression cutlers rivets.
