Gustav Emil Ern 12” Serrated Slicer Knife Solingen 1980s
Stainless steel with walnut handle made in the 1980’s. Was purchased as new old stock and has seen a tiny bit of use.
12” blade, 17” overall length. 4.5 oz
Old time customers of ours will recognize these from many years back. We found a contact for these as new old stock in 2007 and sold a variety of them for years. A crate or two of knives from this makers were imported in 1987 and mislabeled (maybe on purpose?) as ice cream scoops and then later auctioned off in a warehouse auction. There were a variety of forged and knives dating from the 1980’s, 70’s and possibly older with these stamped knives being from the 1980’s. Not many knives were imported to the USA from this brand.
