Vintage Friedr Herder Constant series hand ground mirror polished stainless steel 8.5” carving knife with stag tip handle made from the 1950's to 60's These were an excellent hand ground thin convex faced stainless knife for their day.

Blade is very full and free from damage outside of some light scratches from being cleaned with the abrasive side of a sponge.

Friedr. Herder Abr Sohn company is the longest continually operating knife making operation in Solingen Germany. It’s famous Pikas spade logo was registered in 1727 although their place in Solingen’s blade making traces further back.
