Antique French gigot for holding onto a bone, especially a leg of lamb bone while carving. Handle is silver plate and the holder is a nickel plated carbon steel with a threaded screw to tighten.

This is in great shape, no corrosion or damage to handle. Think of how much fun this will be at parties.

The gigot and handles are held together with old style cutlers cement or rozzil a mixture of beeswax, rosin and brick dust. It is a hard cement at room temperature but will melt at high temperatures, DO NOT PUT THIS IN THE DISHWASHER, or use them to roast mini marshmallows.
