Hand made in France by Fontenille Pataud featuring a stainless blade, stainless bolster, hand filed spring, and locking release at the butt of handle which is hafted in stabilized red poplar burl.

This is their new interpretation of the classic Pradel, popularized in the west of France at the beginning of the 20th century. We love this version because of it's larger-than-average traditional Pradel size, cheehoo!  It's sleek and slim profile still feels elegant and discreet in the pocket and hand. 

Fontenille Pataud is a small family business located in Thiers, in the beautiful Auvergne region in France. Thiers is world famous for its manufacturing of knives and cutlery.

They are well known for their Laguiole style knives, but other regional styles including the Vendetta (from Corsica), Yssingeaux, Saint-Bernard, and Basque knives.
