Ernest Wright 13" Classic Tailor Shears - Carbon Steel
The traditional tailor shears with handmade, long blades give you a consistent and precise cut. Forged from C50 steel, hardened to 56 HRC with a hot salt bath for the heat treatment. The blade extends slightly beyond the nail hole, so it can be resharpened over many years. It also has a foot to glide across the tabletop, and an extended bolt so it’s easy to pick up during work.
Founded by the Wright family in 1902, five generations have worked to manufacture precise scissors and shears in Sheffield England. Handmade and assembled by a small team of forgers, grinders, polishers and "putter-togetherers," Ernest Wright scissors and shears are beautiful and precisely functioning tools.
