Vintage 8.5 inch cuisine massive style chef’s knife and forged in Italy with carbon steel blade, steel ferrule, and rosewood handle.

This knife represents some of the finest Italian knife, making that I have found the hand forged after being dropped. Forged blade has a really excellent taper, the narrow bolsters that don’t extend all the way to the end of the heel are a big bonus. These look to have been an original feature and not added later, there are some cracks in the handle and the price has been adjusted. Everything seems solid and this knife is ready to get to work.
