Arthaud & Martin a Bourbonne 9” Nogent Slicer 19th C
Antique Arthaud & Martin 9” slicer made in the 19th century in Bourbonne les Bains near Nogent Haute Marne.
Very unusual to find knives of this age that have not been sharpened down much, despite the pits it is in great shape. Blade is straight for this age (there is a bit of waviness in center). Brazed nickel ferrule is nice and secure and the slender ebony handle is secure and free from cracks.
