Anton Wingen Jr Steak Knife Set Etch and Inlay Stainless & Stag Solingen 1960s-70s
5 pc set of forged etched and inlayed mirror finished stainless steel with pinned stag handle scales from Anton Wingen Jr of Solingen Germany from the 1960s to 70s. Wingen used the old fashioned term for stainless "Rostfrei" (rust-free) up into the 70s possibly later, sometimes this is useful for dating older knives but not here..
Each knife has the coat of arms of a different German city; Berchtesgaden, Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Vilsek, Bremerhaven, and Augsberg.
These are certainly used but have barely been sharpened, and not abused, we found them with a dull factory edge and they have been given a fresh edge and are ready to get to work. Without box.
