Landers Frary & Clark American Table Knife & Fork Sets Cast Pewter & Bone
Antique LF&C table knife and forks with quintessentially American cast pewter and cow bone bolsters, handles and butt caps, older set with decorative inlay.
These show both a classic American handle configuration and the evolution of the 4 pronged fork design in the late 19th C. It seems that the shorter the tines and more of a flat spot at the base of times the later into the 19th / early 20th c the fork. The top set is a bit more recent.
