
Abercrombie & Fitch Sabatier 5" Boning Knife Stainless 1930s-50s
Abercrombie & Fitch Sabatier Ideal pattern boning knife (possibly made by Sabatier Trumpet judging from the from the model number?). Hand forged and hand ground after drop forged stainless steel 5" blade with nickel silver riveted walnut or pear wood handle.
This is from an excellent era of knife makng in Thiers, back in the day Abercrombie and Fitch sourced some of the highest quality cutlery and this is a great example of the early Ideal pattern hand forged and hand ground knives,
Blade has scratches but hasn't been sharpened in much, the handle shows lots of washing but is free from issues.
